The Youth Development Foundation, Inc. (YDF) is proud to state that for over 53 years, we have awarded millions of dollars in scholarships and prizes to talented young women from around the world. We are now focused on women entering college and maintaining a 3.0 GPA or better during their first semester.. YDF in association with Black Women for Black Girls Giving Circle targets incoming freshmen and undergraduates and awards a $1,000 scholarship as well as hosts a “College Shower” for the recipients. An application is submitted during their senior year in high school and honorees are selected from the best responses.
